It’s been a long wait in the mail for this bad boy. I’ve been waiting for quite some time as our package deliveries have ground to a halt due to the “Polar Vortex”. I got this a few days back and have given it a proper test. Sweet jumping Jehoshaphat this is the best beanie I’ve ever encountered for my head shape, neck length, and hair. Let me explain further: Small head, short-ish neck, and slick baby fine hair that normally needs bobby pins put into the beanie to make it stay on my head. None of this is an issue with the St. Germain. It stays on even when you are sweaty. It’s got the perfect amount of slouch even if you wear your hair inside the beanie. No real hat hair or static issues. The little beads on it catch the light nicely and aren’t tacky looking at all. I’d have taken a few shots of me wearing the beanie but it’s dark out and more importantly, it’s on sale at Anthropologie right now. I got mine for $38.00 and feel it’s worth that much for me since it ends the search for the perfect beanie. The sale makes it so worth buying at $24.95. Currently, they only have the pink and green colors in stock but I wish I’d gotten the green. I have auburn hair and I think it would have been a better color combo. My husband insisted I get the cream to get more use out of the item. It is versatile but I don’t think either of the other colors would be remiss with any wardrobe staple colors for winter coats. I like a pop color in my accessories and think it’s a fun way to liven up your look for very little investment. Give it a look and see if it might be right for you. I certainly give it a big two thumbs up! Click here to be taken to the beanie!
