Quick Updates and Budget Buys!

Ladies and Gents,

I’ve been in the midst of a Trans-Atlantic move which is still in process.  I’m on U.S. soil now in the PNW once again! I’m sorry our posts and my blogging community support has been so spotty! We’ll be about 80% up to speed next week. I do have a few things to share with you in the meantime though!

Budget buys: Target is having a major sale. Pretty much everything in their home department I’ve been recommending is on a super-sale. The web site has 20+% off, plus free shipping on orders over $50. They also have 25+% off patio furnishings. I went to a store today and got the mother of all deals! The Threshold bar cart from this post was $38! I implore you to get over to a Target and check out the deals or scope them out online (My new local Target was cleaned out of many of the things I wanted.).

Secondly, if you live in WA state, Safeway is doing a Washington Wine extravaganza. It’s 40% off all WA wines when you buy 6 or more! Needless to say CGR will be showcasing Washington state wines for a few weeks! I couldn’t believe how many sale options there were! We’ve got Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignion Blanc, Rose, and Meritage to review ranging in price points from about $20 to $5 before the applied discount. This applies even to the super expensive Washington wines they keep in the climate controlled cases. If you’ve had your eye on a pricey vintage, now is the time to splurge and try it for much much less than usual. The sale lasts through the weekend!

Last but not least, the CGR team will be at Safeway’s University Place location today to support a wine tasting of the Original House Wines, ongoing from 3:00 to 7:00! If you happen to be in the Seattle area stop by and say hi!

Sorry, too far away! Maybe different states have their own wines on sale…I’ll check. Glad to hear you are back in USA!

    Hi Erin,

Thanks for updating us about your move.

This is the perfect time to get some new home goods. I live in Target and will definitely check out the sales. 😉

    All the best to you,

Glad to see you’re back, Erin! Moving is expensive and exhausting I agree! Did you have fun at the wine testing event? 😀

The wine tasting event was fun but slightly disappointing just because not a lot of people showed up. I’m only sort of back. I’m working on a little old laptop until my stuff gets here in June :) So back in the geographical sense!
