Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads have been an absolute life saver for me this winter. My beloved Magic Pads were not quite cutting the proverbial mustard in the winter and I needed something a little stronger to clear away dead and dry skin. I decided to purchase a large size of the Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads. I’d used them several years ago as a once a week peel. I’m currently using them twice a week and I plan on going up to three. Here are a quick product description and list of ingredients.
What it is:
A daily hydroxy acid and peptide facial peel.
What it is formulated to do:
Regular use of Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads reveals clear, radiant skin. A unique complex gently exfoliates the skin to support natural cell turnover, while protecting skin from environmental damage and boosting moisture.
What else you need to know:
Convenient and easy to use, these peel pads are formulated with alpha, beta, and gamma hydroxy acids (which act as exfoliators) and amino acids (the building blocks of peptides). The result: the appearance of tighter pores, clear skin and a softening in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. Leaves skin soft, smooth, firm, and revitalized.
-Alpha (Glycolic and Lactic) Hydroxy Acid: Exfoliates skin’s surface and supports natural cell turnover.
-Beta (Salicylic) Hydroxy Acid: Absorbs sebum within the pores, discourages future breakouts and supports natural cell turnover.
-Gamma (Linolenic) Hydroxy Acid (GLA) -Omega 6: An essential fatty acid to boost moisture content.
-Alpha (Arginine) Amino Acid: Contains antioxidant properties to help protect skin from environmental damage.

This is an excellent exfoliator. Even for sensitive skin. I have very sensitive skin plus mild Rosacea and I don’t get any redness or major discomfort from using them. The first time stung minorly and I left it on for 3 minutes. I can now wear the peel for 20 to 30 minutes with no irritation. It will bring out any under the skin zits you have and it really helps with clogged pores. It does help fade fresh acne marks and brightens the complexion. I use it all over my face, decolletage, and hands. I’ve seen the biggest improvement with my hands. They are smooth and bright like never before. There is even a line of demarcation of color now from my forearm to my hand so take that into consideration when you apply it. Coupled with my Sibu and Sonia Kashuk Radiant Oil, I’ve begun getting compliments from Korean women on my skin. That’s pretty much the highest compliment you can get in the beauty world. While the product is not moisturizing, it’s very helpful for allowing your moisturizer to penetrate because it does such a good job of exfoliating. When you apply the Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads to your skin, it does take some time for the solution to dry and it does feel sticky. I neutralize it will tap water and a washrag, but I’m going to switch over to a thermal water. You can apply any skin care right after with the exception of another acid product or a full strength retinoid. Those will sting or irritate after the peel. I will say I’ve had more blemishes since using it, but I have also been testing other skincare and wearing foundation more frequently. They come and go in a day or two. As for long term results, I’ve only been using these for a month. I have noticed that my skin is brighter. The area around my mouth where the nasal labial lines are had smoothed out. I didn’t have wrinkles there, but the area looks younger and not as dry as before. The 11’s area also looks smoother and younger. It’s not a miracle worker but in tandem with my other products, it’s produced significant results in 4 weeks and only 8 uses. I find I prefer to use my Fresh Seaberry oil directly after the peel as it’s more soothing than the Sonia Kashuk. After that, I return to the SK and my Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle until the next peel. My skin still isn’t looking great with foundation as it’s still a bit dry, but things are improving.
As an exfoliator, it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever used. It’s pH and triple acid formula make it gentle and effective. I think everyone can use it unless you have compromised skin from a medical condition or recent surgery or open sores or blemishes. The pads are so soaked in the solution you could cut them in half if you only use them on your face. The Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads is an A+ rated product in my book. It’s not a miracle worker for wrinkles as it might seem by the name, but it will be helpful in preventing or reversing certain signs of aging when paired with an effective anti-aging regimen.
