How cute is this packaging?
Today’s post is going to get a little personal. I won’t go too much into the TMI aspect of my life, but I do suffer from sleeplessness and anxiety. I’m not constantly tired though it feels like it sometimes. I’ve also had to get Vitamin B shots before because I’m so stressed my body just can’t hold onto it. That’s where Wojo Nutrition comes in. These fast acting supplements have been a life saver over these past few weeks. I tried two out of the line up that would be the most helpful for me, Calm and Energy.
Here is a breakdown of Calm’s ingredient list. As for the flavor, it tastes faintly of prunes and fortified cereal. You will barely be able to detect in a beverage though. As for the results, holy crap I was calm. Like Buddist monk level calm. My husband tried to start an argument with me. The fact I didn’t show any emotion or even really care made him even more angry. I was SUPER relaxed for about 8 hours. Nothing got to me and I was able to focus on other things. Needless to say, Calm and I are now besties. Wojo Nutrition really hit out of the park with this one.
Here is what you will find inside Energy. I have a love-hate relationship with this one. It makes me do stuff even when I don’t want to. It’s like liquid motivation. It’s taste is slightly more bitter than Calm but still pretty unnoticeable in a flavored beverage. This has way less caffeine than a cup of coffee, but I’d caution you to speak to your doctor before trying it if you have any sensitivity to stimulants. I have a high heart rate naturally, but I had no ill effects from the supplement. I will only use this on days I’m really dragging with much that needs to be accomplished. Once again, the effects lasted at full strength for about 8 hours with no jitters or crash afterward.
How it looks in plain water!
I loved both supplements I ordered from Wojo Nutrition. The packaging and dosing are great. I like that Energy keeps you moving, but it’s so motivating that once your tasks are over you really have to go do more tasks. I won’t take it unless I have an 8 – 12 hour day chocked full of work where I can’t even afford to break for lunch. It’s just too much for my normal workflow. Calm, on the other hand, I could see myself taking a few times a week. Even though it’s incredible at reducing stress and anxiety, you don’t feel drugged or slow. I felt a certain focus and clearness that allowed me to work better, think clearly, and feel much happier. I’ve used it a few times in the past two weeks and the effects have been comparable every time. For the small pack, which hold 5 doses, the cost is $6.49 and the 30 dose pack is $34.99. They aren’t necessarily expensive, but they aren’t cheap either. For me, I’ll probably stock up on the Calm supplement and only keep a few of the Energy on hand since I doubt I’d use more than one ampule a month.
