What it is:
A collection of six lipstick shades—from sheer to cream to mega matte—created in collaboration with Gwen Stefani.
What it does:
Gwen Stefani worked with Urban Decay to create her blend of perfect shades and ideal textures. This lineup of six shades ranges from a bright red matte to a shimmering sheer nude and a creamy deep fuchsia. It features Urban Decay’s first-ever shade in Mega Matte finish—an ultra-bold matte that lays down a lot of color in one coat. Formulated with Urban Decay’s proprietary Pigment Infusion System™, these shades offer a super-creamy texture, rich color payoff, and superior color dispersion.

What else you need to know:
Everything in the limited-edition Urban Decay Gwen Stefani collection was developed in close collaboration with Gwen. Urban Decay’s product development team spent countless hours her house, talking makeup and working with her on every detail of the collection. Gwen Stefani directed the packaging design, which was inspired by her love of black-and-white graphic prints and antique gold accents. Urban Decay created everything with her, filling a void by developing all of the perfect shades she always wished she had in her collection. And with these products in your arsenal, you’ll have all the essentials to recreate her signature looks for yourself.
Each one I try just gets better and better! Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Wonderland Lipstick is the perfect everyday shade for a bright lip lover like myself. On me, it’s a bright strawberry red that is opaque in one pass. As with the other shades, this offers wonderful wear time, isn’t drying, and this one fades extra evenly and transfers slightly less than Rock Steady. This one gives me all day wear, looking great at the end of the day but not quite as strongly as Rock Steady. When I say all day, I really mean quite close to all day as I get about 12 hours. It fared well through meals, beverages, and pet kisses. This particular shade seems to make lips look really smooth and plump, though it doesn’t contain and shimmer. It’s a true satin finish and after my second meal the finish was a bit worn and not as glossy but the color was still true to the tube. The color mostly removed with my normal night cleanser and left a light stain that lingered into the next morning.
Getting Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Wonderland Lipstick might be tough for you as they keep rotating what’s available online as stock goes in and out. I’d be on the safe side and go to a store or call the Sephora locations closest to you. For me, this will become my spring and summer staple.
