KLAIR’S toner hydrates and calms sensitive skin post-cleansing and tidies the skin texture to smoothen while maintaining the optimal pH balance to help the absorption of other products as well. With a various plant extracts and soothing ingredients blended together for a calming formula, the non-irritating, super hydrating toner can be used for sensitive skin as well.
The skin glows brighter with higher moisture retention. The Renewal Toner is prescribed with an upgraded moisturizer that rapidly absorbs into the skin while prolonging hydration by more than 20% than conventional toners with hyaluronic acid and beta-glucan. For dry skin, use 2-3 times consecutively to help relieve strain from dry skin. With decreased oiliness and increased absorption, it’s suitable all year around for oily skin as well.

The Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner has been getting a lot of hype, even from Vogue. Since it’s only $20, I decided to try it. The first day I tried it I was not impressed. Over the next three days, I became a total convert! I rarely start off saying you need something without telling you why, but you need it.
As for the toner itself, it’s a thicker than water with a texture akin to a very viscous but lightweight serum (trying to take a photo of this in your hand is a total failure it just looks like water!). It’s clear, and it smells of grains, herbs, and florals. It’s not offensive in any way, and it does last a few minutes. You dispense it into your palm and swipe it on. Then pat/press it into the face, neck, and chest. It absorbs quickly and can easily be layered on itself if you need more or are parched. It leaves no tackiness even with a few layers.
When you first apply Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner, it seems lightly hydrating and very soothing. The magic starts occurring after a few uses. This stuff helps to plump the skin, brighten, tighten, and resurface in a very gentle way. Honestly, this combined with the other things I’m using has great synergy too, my pores look minuscule and relatively clean and so puffed up from the bottom because my skin is so much less dehydrated it’s almost like I got some sort of procedure done. With my new upgraded three toner routine, I can almost go without moisturizer or oil. I’m still using them, but I no longer need like six or seven drops of oil to feel hydrated as three is now enough for my face. I’ve also reduced my moisturizers down in usage to about half.
The other crazy side effect is shutting down breakouts. It’s making it so much easier for my UFO oil to work deep down. Plus the Centella Asiatica is a good blemish busting and sebum controlling ingredient. I also find this calming to rosacea. Honestly, this stuff is like liquid gold. Since you get so much for so little, don’t be shy about putting it all over. It’s even fading a freckle on the back of my hand!
The Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner is a must try. It’s a bit of sleeper for the first use or two, but after that, you start to see some results. I use this in concert with a lot of other products, but it truly added it’s own stamp on my routine and does everything it claims to do. I’m a total convert, it lives up to the hype and exceeds it for my skin. If you struggle with dehydration but find you break out from more occlusive moisturizers, you need to order this. Any skin type and age can use this, though. Heck, I even used this on some flaky skin on my dog’s belly, and it cleared it right up in two uses.
